Stephen A. Connell, 69, Veteran, Welder and Truck Driver

stephen_connellStephen A. Connell, 69, of Atkinson, N.H.,  husband of the late Rhonda (Aghoian) Connell passed away May 23 at his home.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late James and Anna (Kyrpish) Connell. Raised and educated in Haverhill he was a graduate of Haverhill Trade School, class of 1964. After graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged. He was a welder by trade and for many years following he was a truck driver for Whittemore Trucking Company. He loved fishing and spending time at his brother’s camp on Richardson’s Lake, Maine.

He is survived by his brother, Paul Connell and his wife Marsha of Bradford; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife he is predeceased by his brothers James Jr. and Robert Connell and two sisters, Joan Connell and Constance Alexander.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours Friday, May 27, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. A funeral service follows at 11 in the funeral home. Burial will be in Atkinson Cemetery, Main Street, Atkinson, N.H.
