Sandown, N.H., to Hold Drug Abuse Forum June 16

Community leaders in the town of Sandown, N.H., are having a forum on “the substance abuse epidemic and its impact in Sandown,” Thursday, June 16.

Topics to be discussed include substance abuse awareness, prevention and the effects of substance abuse. The forum takes place from 7 to 9 p.m., at Sandown Town Hall, 320 Main St., Sandown, N.H.

“Heroin, illegal drugs and prescription drug abuse is here in Sandown, our town. It is affecting every one of us, our children, friends, neighbors and families,” a statement reads. “Substance abuse in our community has lead to increased crime and the senseless deaths of people in our community.”
