Police Arrest Haverhill Pair on Drug, Other Charges

Haverhill District Court.

Two Haverhill residents face court arraignment on drug dealing charges and others under outstanding warrants after their arrests by Haverhill police Thursday evening during an investigation.

Alejandro Rosado, 41, of 5 Leblanc St., Haverhill, was arrested at 5:50 p.m., Thursday, at 93 White Street. He was charged with drug possession with intent to distribute and possession of a class E drug.  According to a police spokesperson, an outstanding warrant against Rosado, from a case in 2013 in which he was charged with attempted murder, assault and battery and refusal to provide a DNA database sample, is “most likely a probation or bail violation.”

Jessica Richards, 27, of 16 Williams St., Haverhill, was arrested by Haverhill police as a fugitive from justice at 7:36 p.m., Thursday, on Vine Street. Charges under an outstanding warrant are “from a 2015 case out of Lawrence,” police said. Those include distribution of a class A drug, being present where heroin is kept, possession of a class E drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and providing liquor to a person under 21.
