Jeannette N. (Bizeur) Mazza, 84, Nurse’s Aide

Jeannette_ MazzaJeannette N. (Bizeur) Mazza, 84, a former resident of Haverhill, died May 3, at Brookdale/Spruce Wood, Durham, N.H.

Born in Haverhill, daughter of the late Andrew and Annie (Klecha) Bizeur, Mazza attended Haverhill High School. She was most recently employed as a nurse’s aide at Hannah Duston Heath Care Center and Whittier Rehabilitation Center of Haverhill. She had also been previously employed at Market Basket in the meat department. A member of All Saints Parish and the former Saint Michael’s Parish, Mazza enjoyed reading, taking trips to Foxwoods, bowling and playing Whist, Pokeno and 45s. She was also an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, the Boston Bruins and Tiger Woods.

She was predeceased by her husband, Michael A. Mazza in 1991, and is survived by five daughters, Suzanne Saulnier of Georgetown, Marie Chabot of Haverhill, Barbara Williams and her husband David of Shelton, Conn., Diane Lamprey and her husband Greg Sheive of York, Maine, and Nancy Anderson and her husband Jeff of North Berwick, Maine; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mazza’s Life Celebration Friday, May 6, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. Her funeral service follows at 1 p.m., at the funeral home, and concludes with committal services in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of NH, 166 S River Rd #210, Bedford, NH 03110.
