Keith O. Grover, 44, Hawthorne Hotel Bartender

Keith_GroverKeith O. Grover, 44, of Salem, formerly of Haverhill, passed away Saturday, April 23, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Haverhill, son of Sandra L. (Moores) Grover and the late Oliver C. Marshall. He attended Haverhill public schools and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1989. He then continued his education and received an Associate’s Degree from Northern Essex Community College. Relocating to Salem, he lived there for the last 23 years. He was employed as a professional bartender, working most of his career at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem. Grover was a devout Red Sox fan and enjoyed going to games.

He leaves his mother, Sandra L. Grover; his best friend with whom he lived, Jodi Young; two brothers, Robert Grover, of Chelmsford, and Derick K. Grover and his wife, Sarah, of Salem, N.H.; three sisters, Laurie A. Grover, Karen L. Grover and brother-in-law, Alonzo Johnson, and Lorna L. Nassor, all of Haverhill; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and dear friend, Darlene Chase.

Friends and family are invited to calling hours Tuesday evening from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. Haverhill.
