John P. Parker, 47, Worked at Millwork Door and Window

john_parkerJohn P. Parker, 47, died Monday, April 18, after a brief illness, at Holy Family Hospital at Merrimack Valley, surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late William L. and Beverly K. (Moore) Parker.

Parker was born in Haverhill March 6, 1969 and resided in Groveland for many years. He was a graduate of Pentucket Regional High School. He was employed as a woodworker for the former Millwork Door and Window in Groveland for several years. As a young boy, he played Little League and was coached by his dad. He enjoyed family vacations, watching New England sports and was a horse racing enthusiast.

He is survived by his three siblings, Paula M. Parker of Groveland and her companion, Tom Leonard of Haverhill, Linda L. Boussu of Newburyport, William L. “Larry” Parker Jr. and his wife, Ann of Dracut; and several nieces and nephews.

At the request of Parker’s family funeral services will be privately held Friday in the Linnehan-Grondin Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill. Interment will be held in the Riverview Cemetery, Groveland. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in John’s memory to Emmaus Inc., P.O. Box 568, Haverhill, MA 01831.
