Police Arrest Salem, N.H., Man on Shoplifting Charge

A Salem, N.H. man is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court on a shoplifting charge after his arrest by Haverhill police Sunday afternoon.

Nathan Sherman, 41, of Salem, was arrested at 3:44 p.m., Sunday, at CVS Pharmacy, 425 Lowell Ave., Haverhill. He was charged with one count of shoplifting.

In other police news:

Three motorists face unlicensed driving charges, among others, in Haverhill District Court following separate arrests over the weekend.

Jarrod Bane, 39, of Woburn, was arrested by Haverhill police at 8:40 p.m., Sunday, at 139 Crystal St. He was charged with driving with a suspended license, driving an unregistered motor vehicle, number plate violation and trespassing. He was also taken into custody on an unspecified outstanding warrant.

Michel Thompson, 35, of Danvers, was arrested at 2:36 p.m., Saturday, on Cross Road, on a charge of driving with a suspended license. He also faces a second count of driving with a suspended license under an outstanding warrant.

Ericka Tilden, 41, of 200 Hilldale Ave., Haverhill, was taken into custody on a warrant by Haverhill police at 10:47 a.m., Friday, on Broadway. Under the warrant, she was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a lights violation.
