Haverhill Public Library is hosting an exhibit during April of award-winning paintings by Haverhill native Robert “Bob” Eastman of the “Past – Present – Future.”

Eastman’s exhibit includes both his Fantasy Artworks as well as locations he has painted of Haverhill and the surrounding area. Eastman had his first public showing back in 1977 at the Haverhill Public Library and has since shown in several galleries and restaurants in New England, as well as at the Boskone Science Fiction Convention, Boston.

A Vietnam Veteran and a Union Ironworker for 30 years, Eastman has always been painting on something – bikes, vans, illustration board, boats and more.  He has painted the parts of Haverhill where he was raised.

This exhibit can be seen through the end of April in the second floor gallery during regular library hours, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.  The library is closed Sunday and Monday, April 19 and 20, for Patriots Day.
