Concelia M. (Flammia) Tuccolo, 92, Stitcher in Shoe Industry

Concelia_TuccoloConcelia M. (Flammia) Tuccolo, 92, of Haverhill, wife of the late Nicholas G. Tuccolo, passed away April 6 at the Hannah Duston Healthcare surrounded by her family.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of Michael and Jennie (Day) Flammia. She was raised and educated in Haverhill and attended Haverhill public schools. She worked for many years as a stitcher in the shoe industry of Haverhill. Tuccolo enjoyed spending time at Haverhill Citizens Center where she loved playing cards. She also enjoyed knitting, sewing and gardening.

She is survived by her two children, Joseph Tuccolo and his wife Denise of Seabrook, N.H., and Michael Tuccolo and his wife Barbara of Hampstead, N.H.; sister Margie Demerett of Haverhill; grandchildren, Deborah Moore, Catrinia Melton, Maria Tuccolo, Michael J. Tuccolo, Jamie Tuccolo and his wife Leah and Tatum Stevenson and her husband Rob; and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson Jared Tuccolo and a sister Frances.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours Sunday, April 10, from 2 to 5 p.m., at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m., in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery, John Ward Avenue, Haverhill.
