Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren has risen from the rejected head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to a visible force in Washington, but probably no one expected she would be the feature of a new comic book.

The life of the Massachusetts senator is being told in a new 24-page comic book to be released by Portland, Ore.-based Storm Entertainment. The publication is part of an award-winning female empowerment series called “Female Force.”

“We wanted to showcase the strong women in today’s society that have inspired generations and shaped the culture of today,” Publisher Darren G. Davis said. “Kids and adults alike can look up to these women as great role models. One of the coolest things about the comic books is that we found schools using them for reluctant readers.”

Female Force has featured actors, politicians, authors, and musicians—everyone from Angelina Jolie, Hillary Clinton, Ellen DeGeneres, Sonia Sotomayor, Michelle Obama, Gabrielle Giffords, Condoleezza Rice to J.K. Rowling and Cher. Storm has also had success in producing comic book on such political figures as Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Rand Paul and more in its Political Power series.

“Elizabeth Warren has proven herself a powerful advocate for the middle class. Her plainspoken approach and dogged attacks on Wall Street have resonated with voters looking for someone who understands the crush of debt and the shackles imposed by student loans,” a statement said.

Michael Frizell writes the comic book with art by Vincenzo Sansone and Chris Canibano.

Print copies of “Female Force” are available at www.comicfleamarket.com. Digital editions are also available for $3.99 for iTunes, Kindle, Nook, ComiXology, DriveThru Comics, Google Play, Trajactory, My Digital Comics, Overdrive, Iverse, Biblioboard, ComicBin, Axis360, Blio, Entitle, Comicblender and Kobo.

  1. You talk about Student Loans….. Elizabeth Warren had no problem walking away with $350,000 to teach ONE class and claiming she is of “Indian” descent (but can’t or won’t prove this supposed connection), and still….. she wants you and me to pay for everyone’s education. Forgive student loans, she says. Elizabeth Warren understands being on the receiving end of that equation, but doesn’t relate to anything else.

    AND THE BEAT GOES ON!

    This should say LAZY voters.

Not once has Warren called The U.S. Attorney General in front of her Committee to question why Wall Street executives were not sent packing to prison. Her Glass-Steagall Bill completely leaves out derivatives which makes the Bill useless. Those derivatives by the way, CONgress let banks put those unto the lawless London markets. Student loans? Once again, Democrats and Republicans changed the law in both 2005 (Bankruptcy law) and in 2010 (ACA fix) to ensure the future enslavement of an entire generation, this includes our very own Niki Tsongas who voted for it in 2010 taking out private lending and making loans government backed – aka Taxpayers. This of course is on top of her personal and hypocritical misrepresentations, but hey, like most CONgress Members, what they do and what they say don’t have to be the same and Americans will vote them right back into office. .
