Jason C. Primack, 83, Well-Known Local Attorney

Jason_PrimackJason C. Primack, 83, formerly of Haverhill, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 5, at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

He was born in Haverhill Nov. 15, 1932, son of the late Isaac and Sarah (Geller) Primack. He graduated from Haverhill High School, class of 1950. After graduating, Primack received his bachelor’s from Tufts College and juris doctor degree from George Washington School of Law. He served as second assistant district attorney in Essex County from 1958 to 1974, and then went into private practice. He was a member of the Massachusetts, New York and District of Columbia Bar Associations. He was also an instructor in Criminal Law at North Shore and Northern Essex Community Colleges.

He was the husband of the late Marlene D. (Rakofsky) Primack, who passed away in 2014, and brother of the late Hannah Primack. His survivors include a daughter Andrea Buccelli of Wakefield; son Russell Primack of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.; grandchildren Ariana and Dylan of Wakefield, Skyler and Taylor of Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral Friday, April 8, at 10 a.m., at H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St. Haverhill. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
