Joan E. “Joanne” (Mansfield) Dalton, 52

joan_daltonJoan E. “Joanne” (Mansfield) Dalton, 52, died after a brief illness at Lawrence General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of John F. Dalton with whom she shared 25 years of marriage.

Born in Haverhill, Oct. 25, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Sheila (Kelly) Mansfield. She was a lifelong resident of Groveland, a graduate of Whittier Vocational Technical High School class of 1981 and received her Associate’s Degree in Food Science and Nutrition from Essex Agricultural and Technical Institute, Danvers. She loved taking trips to New York City to see Broadway shows and spending time at Foxwoods. Scrapbooking was a favorite pastime also. Two years ago the birth of her first grandchild, Hailey occurred and she was the apple of her Nuna’s eye. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Jeff Dalton and his girlfriend, Amanda, Kiefer Dalton and Tara Paradis and her husband, Keith; three grandsons, Adam, Jaycob and Jayvin Paradis; two granddaughters, Ava Paradis and Hailey Dalton; two brothers, James and William Mansfield; four brothers-in-law, Dave Dalton and his wife, Dee, Michael Dalton and his wife, Robin, Mark Dalton and his wife, Carrie and Matthew Dalton and his wife, Yuxia; sister-in-law, Susan Bolanger and her husband, Mark; mother-in-law, Joan E. Dalton and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by her father-in-law, Richard Dalton.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Linnehan-Grondin Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave., Haverhil. A graveside service will be  Thursday in the Riverview Cemetery, Groveland at 10 a.m.
