Margaret Bellefeuille, 71, Home Health Aide

Margaret _BellefeuilleMargaret A. “Peggy” (McCarthy) Bellefeuille, 71, of Haverhill, wife of Donald J. Bellefeuille, passed away Thursday, March 31, at Lahey Clinic, Burlington, surrounded by her family.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Anna P. (Nissi) McCarthy. She attended Haverhill public schools and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1962. She was employed as a clerk for Western Electric as well as a home health aide for VNA. Bellefeuille was an avid gardener and the love of flowers showed in the beauty of her yard. She loved spending time at Seabrook Beach where her family owned a home for many years. Time spent with her husband, family and friends on the patio watching the sunset was her favorite. One of her favorite companions was her cat “Annie” who kept her company when she was unable to get around. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her five grandchildren.

In addition to her husband of 46 years, she is survived by her children, Todd J. Bellefeuille and his wife Carolyn R. of Georgetown and Michele A. Skafas and her husband Brendon R. of Haverhill; a sister, Maureen M. Schneider of Haverhill; five grandchildren, Brady Skafas, Nolen Skafas, Ryan Bellefeuille, Scott Bellefeuille and Jason Bellefeuille; two nephews; Daniel Schneider Jr. and his wife Vanessa and Connor Schneider; and a great nephew Aidan.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Monday, April 4, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services begin Tuesday morning at 9, from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m., at Sacred Hearts Parish, South Main Street, Bradford.
