Constance J. (Solimino) Brown, 84, Worked at Western Electric

Constance_BrownConstance J. (Solimino) Brown, 84, of Haverhill, wife of Leslie V. Brown, passed away March 26 at Lawrence General Hospital surrounded by her family.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Domenica (Sciaraffa) Solimino. She was a lifelong Haverhill resident and was raised and educated in Haverhill. Brown was a graduate of La Baron Hairdressing Academy. She was employed at the former Western Electric and at the former Kealey Farms, Salem, N.H. She was known to her family and friends for her great Italian cooking. She loved to travel to Foxwoods and enjoyed shopping on QVC.

Surviving her, in addition to her husband, are her children, Anthony V. Brown and his wife Allyson H. of Brookfield, Wisc., and Brian A. Brown of Bradford; sister Lena Goldoni of Bradford; three grandchildren, Christina and Anthony Brown, and Zachary Barry; and beloved pet rabbit, Thumper. She is predeceased by her siblings Katherine Nagle, Luigina Fichera, Ann Iannazzo and Genaro Solimino.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours Friday, April 1 from 3 to 6 p.m., at Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services are Saturday at 10 a.m., in the funeral home. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, 96 Salem Street, Bradford.
