Niki (Stamateas) Manjounes, 75, Worked at Western Electric

Niki_ManjounesNiki (Stamateas) Manjounes, 75, of Haverhill, wife of the late Charles Manjounes, passed away Friday, March 25, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born in Greece, she immigrated to the United States when she was 22 years old. She soldered equipment for the Western Electric Company in Haverhill for 40 years. Manjounes loved to cook for her family, which was very important to her. She cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving her are her children, Evangela Andrianakos of Haverhill and Charles “Dino” Manjounes and his wife Tricia of Haverhill; five grandchildren, Anthoula Andrianakos, Niki Andrianakos, Alexander Manjounes, Hayley Manjounes and Elizabeth Manjounes all of Haverhill; siblings, Venettie Stamateas and his wife Marie of Haverhill; Patoula Yannakoureas and her husband Socrates of Haverhill and George Stamateas of Haverhill.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours Thursday, March 31, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. A funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, at 11 a.m., at Holy Apostle’s Saints Peter and Paul Church, 154 Winter St., Haverhill. Burial follows in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Parkinsons Association, 72 E. Concord Street, Boston, MA 02118.
