A Haverhill man was expected to have appeared in Haverhill District Court after being charged Monday with two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Shawn Raymond, 35, of 4 Highland Ave., Haverhill, was arrested by Haverhill police at 9:36 a.m., Monday, at 5 Maple Ave. Circumstances behind the arrest were not immediately released.

An Arizona man, arrested Monday afternoon by Haverhill police on impaired driving and other motor vehicle charges, is due to appear in Haverhill District Court.
Theodore Tsantarliotis, 28, of Scottsdale, Ariz., was arrested at 3:42 p.m., Monday, at 4 Golden Hill Ave., Haverhill. He was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and a marked lanes violation.
A Haverhill woman, arrested Monday night on charges including driving with a suspended license, is due in court.
Cheyenne Brown, 24, of 66 Pecker St., Haverhill, was arrested at 8:03 p.m., Monday, on Lawrence Street. In addition to driving with a suspended license, she was charged with speeding and, under an outstanding warrant, assault and battery.
