Police Charge Lawrence Man with Using Dangerous Weapon

A Lawrence man is due to appear in Haverhill District Court on multiple assault charges following his arrest by Haverhill police Thursday afternoon.

John Eubanks, 44, of Lawrence, was arrested at 1:39 p.m., Thursday, on Emerson Street. He was charged with three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, one count of assault and battery and disorderly conduct.

In other police news:

Two Haverhill motorists were due in court after separate arrests Thursday morning on charges including driving with a suspended license.

Maira Moux, 32, of 38 Portland St., Haverhill, was arrested by Haverhill police at 10:28 a.m., Thursday, on Main Street. She was additionally charged with failure to stop or yield.

Later, at 11:20 a.m., Thursday, Keegen Macrae, 20, of 151 Merrill Ave., Haverhill, was arrested on Gile Street. In addition to driving with a suspended license, he was charged with speeding.

Also, a Haverhill man was to appear in court after his arrest Thursday morning on a charge of being fugitive from justice. Samuel Esposito, 37, of 251 Lake St., Haverhill, was taken into custody by Haverhill police at 6:52 a.m., Thursday, at home.
