A warrant sweep by Haverhill police Wednesday afternoon netted three people on unrelated charges including theft and assault.
Polly Doherty, 46, listed by police as homeless, was arrested on several warrants at 1:44 p.m., Wednesday, at 129 Winter St. Under the warrants, she was charged with felony breaking and entering in the daytime, larceny from a building and assault and battery on a family or household member.
Marcel Santos-Padgett, 23, of Leicester, was taken into custody at 2:43 p.m., Wednesday, on Eighteenth Avenue. Under a warrant, he was charged with assault and battery on a family or household member.
Derek Scatamacchia, 41, of 475 Washington St., Haverhill, was arrested at 5:53 p.m., Wednesday, at 36 Newton Road. Under a warrant, he was charged with two counts of larceny by check over $25.
Each is due to appear in Haverhill District Court.
