Carol A. (Brousseau) Cicale, 73, Worked at Mitchell’s

Carol_CicaleCarol A. (Brousseau) Cicale, 73, of East Kingston, N.H., passed away peacefully at her home Sunday, March 13, with her loving family by her side.

Born in Haverhill,she was the daughter of the late Homer and Marion (Allen) Brousseau. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she met and married the love of her life, Thomas J. Cicale, in 1961 and raised their family of five sons.

A dedicated wife and mother, Carol’s family was paramount in her life. She took great pride in her family and cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren. In her younger years, she was a Koscot sales representative. She also worked at Mitchell’s Department Store in Haverhill. Carol will be best remembered by everyone for her kind heart and gentle spirit.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Cicale, with whom she celebrated 55 years of marriage in February; four sons, Thomas Cicale Jr. and his wife Lisa of Brentwood, N.H., Gary Cicale and his wife wife Terri of Hampstead, N.H., Marc Cicale and his wife Michelle of Seabrook, N.H., and Michael Cicale and his fiancé Elschen Calantonio of Hampton, N.H.; 12 grandchildren, a brother-in-law, Robert Cicale and his wife Donna (Bakios) of Ft. Myers, Fla.; and a sister-in-law Sandra (Cicale) Sturk of Atkinson, N.H. She was predeceased by her son Steven in 1985 and her sister Dora in 2011.

Her Life Celebration will be held at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, where friends and relatives can call on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. Her funeral takes place Friday, at 9 a.m., from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Ave., Haverhill. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol’s memory to the Carol A. Cicale Memorial Fund established with St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Drive, Memphis, TN.
