Police Arrest Two in Domestic Assault Cases

Two unidentified Haverhill residents, arrested separately by police early Thursday on unrelated assault charges, are due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.

According to a Haverhill police arrest log, a 28-year-old female from Haverhill was arrested 12:27 a.m., Thursday, on a charge of assault and battery on a family or household member. Later, at 7:14 a.m., Thursday, a 37-year-old male from Haverhill was arrested on charges of assault and battery and assault and battery on a family or household member. Their identities and arrest locations were blacked out from the log by Haverhill police.

A Haverhill woman, arrested by police Thursday morning on a drug dealing charge, is due to be arraigned later in the day at Haverhill District Court.

Kimberly Foley, 36, of 42 Newcomb St., Haverhill, was arrested by Haverhill detectives at 8:56 a.m., Thursday, at home. She was charged with one count of drug possession with intent to distribute.

In other police news, a Salisbury man was to appear in Haverhill District Court on drug-related charges after his arrest by Haverhill police Wednesday morning.

Thomas Gynan, 28, of Salisbury, was arrested at 10:16 a.m., Thursday, on Main Street, Haverhill. He was charged with possession of a class B drug and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Also, a Haverhill woman was to appear in court after her arrest by police Wednesday on a charge of being a fugitive from justice. Denise Alvarado, 38, of 17 Seventh Ave., Haverhill, was taken into custody at 11:56 a.m., Wednesday, at home.
