Man Faces Second Drunk Driving Charge

A Haverhill man faces drunk driving and other motor vehicle charges in Haverhill District Court after his arrest by Haverhill police early Sunday.

Keneth Rios-Melendez, 22, of 3 Chick Ave., Haverhill, was arrested at 12:55 a.m., Sunday, at 461 Washington St. He was charged with driving under the influence of liquor (second offense), unlicensed operation and three counts of leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.

In other police news:

Two area motorists, arrested separately Friday on unrelated charges of unlicensed driving, among others, are due to appear in Haverhill District Court.

Kimberly Nichols, 33, of 355 Washington St., Haverhill, was arrested at 7:36 p.m., Friday, at 32 Washington Ave. She was charged with driving without a license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and improper seat restraint for a passenger under six. She was also taken into custody on an unspecified outstanding warrant.

Earlier Friday, at 6:50 p.m., Luis Robles, 52, of Methuen, was arrested by Haverhill police at 186 Monument St. He was charged with a single count of driving with a revoked license.

A Haverhill woman is due in court after her arrest Saturday night on a trespassing charge and for outstanding warrants. Janet Parker, 62, of 127 How St., Haverhill, was taken into custody at 8:30 p.m., Saturday, at 707 Salem St. Charges under the warrants were not listed on a police log.
