Judith V. (Ambrose) Lawton, 76, of Haverhill, passed away at her home Feb. 27. Lawton was the wife of the late Donald L. Lawton.
Born in Beverly Aug. 16, 1939, Lawton was the daughter of the late William E. and Mary Kate (Marren) Ambrose. She was educated in Beverly and graduated from Beverly High School. She worked for First National Supermarket, where she met her husband, and as a school cafeteria worker in North Andover.
Lawton is survived by her daughter, Mary P. Richardson of Beverly; step-sons, Donald A. Lawton and Gary B. Lawton.
Arrangements, by Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main S., Haverhill, will be private. Interment takes place at Elmwood Cemetery.
