Haverhill Arts Association Seeks New Logo; $200 Prize

There are just two weeks left for graphic artists to enter the Greater Haverhill Arts Association’s Logo Contest.

Members of the association decided last year to retire its 45-year-old logo, designed by founder Robert Gablosky. The group is accepting new designs, preferably created in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. Anyone may enter the contest and become eligible to win $200 cash plus a year’s membership in the association.

Accepted designs will be original, clean and simple, appealing and memorable, contain the full name: Greater Haverhill Arts Association and represent all of the fine arts. Additional criteria may be found at www.haverhillartassociation.org.

Designs must be submitted by March 15 to James McCarthy, project chair, by email at [email protected] or standard mail to 9 Sagamore Street, Haverhill, MA 01830. Designs will be judged by GHAA members at the group’s annual meeting March 20.
