Police Charge Man with Vandalism, Assault

A Haverhill man was to appear in Haverhill District Court on vandalism and assault charges after his arrest early Thursday by Haverhil police.

Jeffrey Reynolds, 29, of 32 Oak Terrace, Haverhill, was arrested at 4:18 a.m., Thursday, at home. He was charged with malicious damage to a motor vehicle. He was also taken into custody on a warrant charging him with assault and battery on a family or household member, assault and battery and witness intimidation.

In other police news:

A Lawrence man is due to appear in Haverhill District Court on multiple motor vehicle charges, including unlicensed driving, after his arrest by Haverhill police Thursday afternoon.

Jose Oyola, 45, of Lawrence, was arrested at 3:48 p.m., Thursday, on White Street. He was charged with driving on a revoked license, failure to stop or yield, an inspection sticker violation and a violation for exhibit of another license. He was also taken into custody on an outstanding warrant charging him with driving on a suspended license and an inspection sticker violation.

An Exeter, N.H., man was due in court to face theft and motor vehicle charges after his arrest at Haverhill police headquarters, 40 Bailey Boulevard, on outstanding warrants.

David Perry, 28, of Exeter, was taken into custody at 10:21 a.m., Thursday. Under the warrants, he was charged with larceny over $250, driving with a suspended license and failure to slow.

A Haverhill woman arrested Thursday morning was to face a charge of witness intimidation in court. Sarah Chittick, 32, of 45 Summer St., Haverhill, was arrested at 6:36 a.m., Thursday, at home.

A mid-day warrant sweep by Haverhill police Thursday nets three local people, including two Franklin Street neighbors, on separate assault charges.

Yamile Labrada, 34, of 71 Franklin St; and Jocelyn Lucia, 19, of 67 Franklin St., were each taken into custody shortly after noon, Thursday, at 71 Franklin St. Labrada, under warrants, was charged with two counts of assault and battery. An outstanding warrant on Lucia charged her with assault and battery on a family or household member.

Earlier, at 10:15 a.m., Thursday, Hayden Oliver, 20, of 245 Lawrence St., Haverhill, was arrested at home on a warrant charging him with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

All three were due to appear in Haverhill District Court.
