Elizabeth A. “Betty” (deBedoire) Borden, 88, of Haverhill, passed away Feb. 23, with her children at her side. She was the wife of the late fire Lt. Carroll N. Borden to whom she was married for 58 years.
Born in Shanghai, China, April 19, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Knute and Ludmila (Evdokimoff) deBedoire.
Bordenb leaves her children, Leslie Borden, Eric Borden and his wife Dorothy, Elizabeth Borden, and Matthew Borden; grandchildren, Eric M. Borden, Ashley Borden, Jeffrey Borden; and four great grandchildren.
Private funeral arrangements will be under the direction of Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
