Healthy legs will be discussed during a senior lunch at Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill, Tuesday, March 1.

Vascular Surgeon Paula Muto discusses the facts about leg swelling, varicose veins and restless legs, and offers advice on how to keep legs working and what symptoms people should worry about, and when.

Muto, a board-certified general and vascular surgeon on staff at Holy Family Hospital, earned her medical degree at New York Medical College, and then completed her residency in surgery at Tufts Medical Center, and her fellowship in vascular surgery at Lahey Clinic.

The lunch takes place at the hospital’s first-floor auditorium, 140 Lincoln Ave., Haverhill, from 1 to 2 p.m. Cost is $5. The menu includes corned beef, potatoes, cabbage, carrots, salad, dinner rolls, dessert, coffee, tea, and water.
