Lucy (Moscarito) Perrocchi, 93, Shoe Worker, Homemaker

Lucy_PerrocchiLucy (Moscarito) Perrocchi, 93, of the Mount Washington neighborhood of Haverhill passed away at her residence surrounded by her family Friday, Feb. 5.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late James and Philomena (Schena) Moscarito. She attended Haverhill public schools and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1940. She was employed in the local shoe industry, but was primarily a homemaker.

She was the widow of John A. Perocchi and leaves her nieces and nephew, Mary Hannah, Karen Rand and her husband, Michael, and James Palardy, all of Bradford. Her family thanked her caregivers, Stephanie Rand and Diane Fitzgerald, for years of love and care. She was predeceased by a niece, Kathleen Cherry and nephew, David Palardy, and her sisters, Mary Nash, Antoinette Moscarito, Louise Moscarito, Helen Ciccarelli, and Dorothy Palardy.                                            A

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, Feb. 11, at 10:30 a.m., in the Sacred Hearts Church Chapel, South Main Street,  Bradford. Burial follows at St. Patrick Cemetery, North Broadway, Haverhill. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02472.
