Kaliope (Kosmes) Adams, 51, Owned Kosmes Sunoco Station

Kaliope_AdamsKaliope (Kosmes) Adams, 51, of Atkinson, N.H., and formerly of Haverhill, died unexpectedly Saturday, Jan. 23, at her residence.

She was born in Boston, Jan. 11, 1965, daughter of the late Christos and Athena (Kokaras) Kosmes. Educated in the Haverhill School System, Adams graduated from Northern Essex Community College. After her father’s death in 1995, she became the proprietress of the Kosmes Sunoco Station, Haverhill. She was a member of Holy Apostles Saints Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church, Haverhill.

Her survivors include her son Michael Adams of Erving, former husband Steven Adams of Erving, canine companion Shivers and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Friday morning, Jan. 29, at 11, at the H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to her son Michael’s educational fund in care of Atty. John R. Bryden, One Elm Square, Andover, MA 01810.
