The $61.5 million Hunking School replacement project is progressing with installation of plumbing and heating systems as well as masonry work for interior and exterior walls.

The latest in weekly onsite video updates from project leaders, posted Tuesday on the Haverhill Public Schools’ “Hunking Building Project” webpage, show pipes for school bathrooms and other building areas are put in place prior to wall construction.

The report comes as the latest meeting of the Hunking School Building Committee took place Tuesday, which, according to a department spokesperson, included a “virtual tour” of the new building in a presentation to the Massachusetts School Building Authority. Other video reports this month overview installation of heating and concrete base for hallway and classroom walls.
