Marilyn “Malsy” Weeks, 74, Served AmVets Patrons

Marilyn “Malsy” Weeks, 74, of Haverhill, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Holy Family Hospital at Merrimack Valley, Haverhill.

Weeks was born in West Newbury June 27, 1941, the daughter of the late Kenneth F. and Marion E. (Randall) Weeks. She was educated in the West Newbury and Haverhill school systems and graduated from Haverhill High School. For many years she was able to make a home for her loving family. She later was employed as a bartender at the Amvets in Haverhill.

She was predeceased by a brother Kenneth and her sisters Georgine Perrault and Barbara Cathey.  Weeks is survived by her children, Julie Maloof of Newton, N.H., Paul and his wife Laura Hanson of Groveland, Peter Mitchell of Lowell, and Jodi Bomba of Haverhill; a brother, Thomas Weeks of Merrimac; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her calling hours Monday, Jan. 25, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St. Haverhill, Ma. Her Graveside Service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Walnut Cemetery, Haverhill.
