This compact plant is a cultivar of the anemone commonly known as windflowers or Japanese anemone. Hardy in zones 4 to 8, this plant can grow 3 to 4 feet tall. The white flowers with attractive yellow stamens grow on wiry stems
Be patient as they are a bit slow to establish. But once rooted they spread by rhizomes creating large colonies.
The deer tend to leave the plants be, so you will be able to enjoy the flowers in the garden or add them to your flower bouquets from late summer into fall.
