Police Make Weekend Arrests for Drunk Driving, Theft

Three people are due to appear in Haverhill District Court to face unrelated drunk driving and other motor vehicle charges stemming from separate arrests over the weekend by Haverhill police.

Josue Pagan, 21, of Chelsea, was arrested at 8:52 p.m., Saturday, at 78 Cogswell St. He was charged with driving under the influence of liquor, driving with a suspended license, leaving the scene of property damage, alcohol from an open container violation, marked lanes violation and threat to commit a crime.

Cameron Dubiel, 22, of Groveland, was arrested at 1:41 a.m., Saturday, on Church Street. He was charged with driving under the influence of liquor, second offense; reckless operation of a motor vehicle; and a marked lanes violation.

Casey Campolini, 29, of 211 Brickett Hill Road, Haverhill, was arrested at 11:30 p.m., Friday, on Baltimore Street. He was charged with driving under the influence of liquor and failure to stop or yield.

In other police news:

Two Haverhill residents, accused of theft in separate police cases, are due in district court after their arrests last weekend.

Scott Schrempf, 35, of 14 Macon Ave., Haverhill, was arrested at 8:43 p.m., Saturday, at 12 Haviland St. He was charged with two counts of larceny over $250, larceny of a drug and possession of a class E drug.

Cinthia Hannan, 28, of 12 Grand Ave., Haverhill, was taken into custody on a warrant at 2:08 p.m., Friday, at police headquarters, 40 Bailey Boulevard. Under the warrant, she was charged with larceny under $250, forgery of a check and uttering a false check.

Three people, including a Haverhill teenager, face assault charges, among others, stemming from separate arrests Friday by Haverhill police.

Wayne Simpson, 43, of 24 Groveland St., Haverhill, was arrested at 11:19 p.m., Friday, at 30 Ferry St. He was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and carrying a dangerous weapon.

Earlier Friday, at 4:01 p.m., a 16-year-old male was taken into custody on a single count of assault and battery. His identity is being withheld due to his age. He is due to appear in juvenile court session at Lawrence District Court.

Sean Thibedeau, 23, of Amesbury, was taken into custody on outstanding warrants at 11:17 a.m., Friday, at 48 Portland St. Under the warrants, he was charged with two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, felony breaking and entering in the daytime and destruction of property.

Saundra Baudin, 18, 99 Bennington St., Haverhill, destruction of property, 2:26 p.m., 60 Rosemont St.

Corey Therien, 25, 111 High St., Haverhill, warrant: abuse prevention order violation, 2:19 p.m., 40 Bailey Boulevard

Timothy Smart, 43, 76 North Policy St., Salem, fugitive from justice, 3:20 p.m., Bowley Street.
