Police in Methuen are advising residents to lock car doors and remove valuable items from inside after a rash of thefts last weekend.
“Numerous vehicles” were reported broken into in the Broadway Street area of Methuen over the weekend, according to a police spokesperson. At least one person is believed to have stolen items such as wallets, laptops, tablets, cash and small electronics.
“Only one vehicle was reported to have damage and the rest were either unlocked or reported locked but no visible damage could be seen,” the spokesperson said.
