Cynthia L. (George) Gallagher, 59, Former Office Manager

cynthia_GallagherCynthia L. (George) Gallagher, 59, of Methuen and formerly of Haverhill, passed away Dec. 30 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers.

She was born in Haverhill Dec. 5, 1956, daughter of the late Allan and Barbara (Lynn) George. Gallagher was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1974. She held many jobs, but her favorite was the time, 23 years ago, she spent working for American Adhesive Coatings Company as office manager. She was an avid camper and over the years met and became great friends with countless people. She will forever watch over her “Brew Crew” family. Gallagher could not wait for the annual summer trip to her favorite campground, Papoose Pond, one of her favorite weeks of the year. She was also very involved with crafts and knitting making things for family and friends.

Gallagher is survived by her husband of 22 years Steven J. Gallagher; daughter Taylor M. Gallagher of Burlington, Vt.; granddaughter Sophia Limoge; sisters Ellen L. Spinney of Clearwater, Fla., and Brenda G. and her husband Ronald Turner of Haverhill; God-daughter Jessica Bessette; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial service Saturday, Jan. 9, at 11 a.m., at Riverside Church, 278 Groveland St. Haverhill. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer and Sons Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Haverhill and Bradford. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Riverside Church, 278 Groveland St. Haverhill, MA 01830 or to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
