Andover Police are investigating an incident where a man was allegedly shot at his apartment Monday.
According to Andover Police Chief Patrick Keefe, his department received a call from the Lawrence Police Department regarding a report of a gunshot victim at Lawrence General Hospital. The man reported he was shot at his Andover apartment, 700 Bulfinch Drive, at approximately 7:30 a.m.
“This appears to be an isolated incident and the community is not in danger,” Keefe said. “The incident remains under investigation by the Andover Police Department and the Essex County State Police detectives.”
The victim drove himself to the LGH Emergency Room and currently has non-life-threatening injuries, a statement said. Police conducted a search of the apartment.
No one EVER says if the person doing the shooting had a legal or ILLEGAL GUN IN HIS POSSESSION. Which was it????
