Police Arrest 12-Year-Old on Stolen Vehicle, Related Charges

A 12-year old Haverhill male, accused of driving a stolen motor vehicle, is due to appear in juvenile court after being arrested by Haverhill police Sunday.

The suspect, whose identity is being withheld due to his age, was arrested by Haverhill detectives at 11:52 a.m., Sunday, on Green Street. He was charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle, negligent operation, failure to stop for police, driving without a license and a stop sign violation.

Two Haverhill motorists face drunk driving charges in Haverhill District Court after separate arrests over the weekend stemming from traffic stops by Haverhill police.

Jennifer Murray, 42, of 26 Talmuth Ave., Haverhill, was arrested at 4:22 p.m., Saturday, at 79 Castle Road on a charge of driving under the influence of liquor.

Earlier last weekend, at 10:53 p.m., Friday, Kevin Houle, 57, of 29 West Laurier St., Haverhill, was arrested at 1149 Main St. on charges of driving under the influence of liquor, negligent operation and a marked lanes violation.

A man listed by Haverhill police as homeless is to be arraigned in district court on burglary charges stemming from an investigation late Friday night into early Saturday.

Robert Smith, 27, last known address of 18 Arch St., Haverhill, was arrested at 12:34 a.m., Saturday, at 241 Winter St. He was charged with felony breaking and entering in the nighttime and larceny under $250.
