The Haverhill Council on Aging is giving away free 10-ride discounted EZ Trans ticket books to seniors 60 and older who fill out and return a completed EZ application.
According to the Merrimack Valley Regional Transit Authority (MVRTA), “EZ Trans services are provided to those persons with disabilities that meet the definition of eligibility as established under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This definition relates to the physical or cognitive impairments that prevent use of the MVRTA’s fixed route bus system.” The agency adds, “this service is only available within the three-quarter mile corridor on each side of an MVRTA fixed bus route.”
