Haverhill Man Faces Drug Dealing Charge Following Arrest

A Haverhill man is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court on a drug dealing charge after his arrest by Haverhill police Monday night.

Adam Cruz, 26, of 44 Dudley St., Haverhill, was arrested on a warrant at 9:55 p.m., Monday, at 259 Main St. Under the warrant, he was charged with distribution of a class B drug.

In other police news, two reported shoplifting incidents at inner city businesses over the past weekend remain under investigation by Haverhill police.

According to police logs, officers responded to a shoplifting incident reported at 6:51 p.m., Sunday, at CVS Pharmacy, 150 Lafayette Square. Earlier in the weekend, at 2:44 p.m., Friday, police responded to a business at 73 White St., where a similar incident was reported.

A suspect in a third weekend shoplifting incident in Haverhill, reported at 6:26 p.m., Friday, at Westgate shopping plaza, 400 Lowell Ave., was arrested a short time later during an investigation. Felisha Dow, 23, of Exeter, N.H., was to be arraigned Monday in Haverhill District Court on one count of shoplifting.
