A Haverhill man is facing armed robbery and assault charges in connection with a police investigation which led to his arrest Thursday.
Justin Chute, 19, of 84 Harrison St., Haverhill, was arrested on a warrant at 11 a.m., Thursday, at home. Under the warrant, he was charged with armed robbery and assault with a dangerous weapon. No further details were available by deadline.
In other police news, a Haverhill man was to appear in district court on a drug dealing charge after his arrest by Haverhill police late Thursday morning. Carlos Sanabria, 29, of 12 Sixth Ave., Haverhill, was arrested at 11:55 a.m., Thursday, at home. He was charged with one count of drug possession with intent to distribute.
Also, a Haverhill man is due to appear in court after his arrest Thursday night on assault charges. Joseph Aguasvivas, 20, of 180 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill, was arrested at 9:51 p.m., Thursday, at home and charged with two counts of assault and battery.
