Police Arrest Two on Assault and Weapons Charges

Two men are due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court on assault and weapons charges from Haverhill police in connection with an investigation Sunday night which led to their arrests.

Bryan Berard, 22, of 5 Seventh Ave., Haverhill; and Robert Rosenberger, 18, of Kingston, N.H., were arrested between 9:45 and 9:50 p.m., Sunday, on White Street. Each was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and carrying a dangerous weapon. No further details were available by deadline.

Haverhill police arrested a Haverhill man, reportedly under the legal drinking age of 21, early Saturday morning on a drunk driving charge. Police report Ernesto Tiburcio, 18, of 43 Arch St., Haverhill, was arrested at 5:19 a.m., Saturday, on High Street. He was charged with driving under the influence of liquor. He is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court.

In other police news, a Lowell woman is due to appear in Haverhill District Court on charges including possession of a class A drug from Haverhill Police. Nicole Corriveau, 34, of Lowell, was arrested at 2:31 a.m., Saturday, at 5 Vernon St. She was also taken into custody on unspecified charges under three outstanding warrants.
