Police: Man Disrupts Court Hearing and is Arrested

A Haverhill man was arrested late Thursday morning and charged in connection with a disturbance at Haverhill District Court.

Haverhill police report Christopher Godfrey, 55, of 12 Lincoln St., Haverhill, was arrested at 11:08 a.m., Thursday, at the courthouse, 45 Ginty Boulevard, on charges of disrupting court proceedings and disorderly conduct.

In other police news, A Haverhill man faces drug-dealing charges in Haverhill District Court following his arrest by Haverhill police Thursday on a warrant.

Darren Brousseau, 49, of 40 White St., Haverhill, was taken into custody at 1:42 p.m., Thursday, at home. Under the warrant, he was charged with distribution of a class B drug and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
