Two North Street Residents Face Drug Dealing and Related Charges

Two Haverhill residents face drug dealing charges after an investigation by Haverhill police detectives led to their arrests Tuesday night at home.

Manuel Moreta, 54, and Ann Caricchio, 50, both of 42 North St., Haverhill, were arrested shortly after 9 p.m., Tuesday. Each was charged with drug possession with intent to distribute, conspiracy to violate drug laws and drug violation near a school zone. Moreta was additionally charged with being a fugitive from justice as he is wanted by Hillsborough, N.H. authorities. Also, under an outstanding warrant, he faces previous drug charges including trafficking in cocaine, distribution of a class B drug and drug possession with intent to distribute.

Both Moreta and Caricchio are due to be arraigned on the charges in Haverhill District Court.

A Haverhill woman faces disorderly conduct charges in district court after being arrested Tuesday afternoon during an alleged disturbance at Haverhill City Hall, 4 Summer St.

Haverhill police report Bonnie Dwyer, 46, of 127 How St., Haverhill, was taken into custody at 12:52 p.m., Tuesday. She was charged with one count of disorderly conduct and, under an outstanding warrant, faces a previous charge of disorderly conduct as well as trespassing.

Four Haverhill residents, arrested Tuesday during a warrant sweep by police, face various charges, including theft, assault and drug possession.

Cassnadra Cabrera, 18, and Keegen Macrae, 20, both of 408 Main St., Haverhill, were taken into custody between 4:14 and 4:22 p.m., Tuesday, at home or at police headquarters, 40 Bailey Boulevard. Under warrants, each was charged with larceny under $250.

Lisa Samoisette, 28, of 31 Gilbert Ave., Haverhill, was arrested at 3:44 p.m., Tuesday, on Observatory Avenue. Under warrants she was charged with shoplifting of $100 or more and possession of a class E drug.

Kenneth Collins, 54, of 988 Amesbury Road, Haverhill, was taken into custody at 6:40 p.m., Tuesday, at home on a warrant charging him with assault and battery.
