ACT Theater Company’s ‘A Night of Hope’ Benefits Emmaus

ACT Theater Company opens its “A Night of Hope: A Christmas Cabaret” this weekend and Emmaus of Haverhill will be a beneficiary.

A cast of more than 50 residents of all ages and walks of life, from the Merrimack Valley and beyond, present the cabaret-style show. It features traditional and modern holiday songs and dances and a sing-a-long medley of some Christmas favorites. As part of the evening, and in keeping with the theme of hope, ACT is sponsoring a food drive to benefit Emmaus House. Audience members are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the show, and ACT will deliver them to Emmaus House.

“In the spirit of the season, ACT wishes to turn our night of hope, into hope for others as well, which is why we are partnering with Emmaus House for this food drive,” said Charles Gracy, ACT’s artistic director.

“A Night of Hope: A Christmas Cabaret” is being performed Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 11 and 12, at 8 p.m., and Dec. 13, at 2 and 6 p.m., at ACT Theater Company, Osgood Landing, 1632 Osgood St., suite 102, North Andover.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $18 for students/seniors and may be purchased online at www.acttheatercompany.com.
