Beulah (Parvanian) Kasparian, 93, Aide at Haverhill Public Schools

Beulah (Parvanian) Kasparian, 93, widow of the late Harry Kasparian of Bradford, died peacefully Friday morning, Dec. 4, at Edgewood Retirement Community. North Andover.

Born, April 25, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Setrak and Mariam (Avedian) Parvanian of Lynn and sister of the late Rose Kebabjian, Anne Kosian, Queenie Delanjian and Armené Parvanian. Kasparian was a graduate of the Lynn Classical High School and the Chandler School of Boston and later continued her education at Northern Essex Community College and Salem State College. During World War II she was employed with the Massachusetts War Manpower Commission and later with the Massachusetts Division of Employment Security. More recently, she held positions as library aide and administrative assistant with the Haverhill Public School System. She was also a member of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church, Haverhill; the Haverhill Women’s City Club; and the Merrimack Valley Chapter of the Daughters of Vartan.

Kasparian is survived by her two sons, Harry Alan Kasparian of Andover and Lance Kasparian of Salem; daughter Lynne Kasparian and her husband Jonathan Unger of Andover; and four grandchildren, Melissa (Kasparian) Swergold and her husband Jason Swergold of New York City, Amy Kasparian of Boston, Michael Kasparian of Austin, Texas, and Julia Kasparian of Somerville.

Calling hours were Sunday at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Funeral services were scheduled today in the Armenian Apostolic Church at Hye Pointe, 110 Main St., Haverhill. Interment will be at Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
