Glacia E. (Vail) Kelley, 99, Self Employed Seamstress

Glacia E. (Vail) Kelley, 99, of Bradford, died Thursday morning, Dec. 3 at Lawrence General Hospital.

She was born in Stratford, Conn., Dec. 31, 1915, daughter of the late George D. and Alice (Mackin) Vail and was educated in the Stratford school system. She moved to Bradford in 1951 and was a longtime member of the First Church of Christ, Bradford. Kelley was a self employed seamstress. She was the wife of the late Frederick Kelley who died in 1973 and mother of the late Frederick G. Kelley who died in 1997.

Her survivors include a daughter, Alice J. Shadallah and her husband Peter of Eliot, Maine; son, David Kelley of Bradford; two grandchildren, Lori and Robert Shadallah; and two great grandchildren, Rebecca and Jared LaFleche.

Relatives and friends are  invited to attend her calling hours Sunday afternoon, Dec. 6, from 1 to 2:45, at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St., Bradford, followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. Entombment will be private and at the convenience of the family in Elmwood Mausoleum, Bradford. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the First Church of Christ, 10 Church St., Bradford, MA 01835.
