Laura J. Clifford, 52, Worked at Former Brew and Stew Pub

laura_cliffordLaura J. Clifford, 52, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 2, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House, surrounded by her family.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of Corinne B. (Hickey) Clifford and the late Freeman P. Clifford. She was a graduate of Hull High School, class of 1981. She worked at the former Brew and Stew Pub in Haverhill as a waitress and a bartender.  Clifford loved northern New Hampshire, especially camping in North Woodstock and the Kangamangus. She enjoyed cooking for her family and loved the holidays.

Surviving her are three children, Colby D. Clifford-Ward, Austin A. Clifford-Ward and Krystal M. Clifford-Ward, all of Bradford; her mother, Corinne B. (Hickey) Clifford of Haverhill; two sisters, Kimberly A. Clifford and her husband, Richard W. Dow of Exeter, N.H., and Kathleen E. Clifford and Robert Cuscia of Salisbury; and a niece, Felisha A. Dow; and her good friend Anthony D’Orlando of Haverhill.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours Friday, Dec. 4, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 8 p.m.
