A Haverhill man is facing armed assault and related charges in Haverhill District Court stemming from an alleged confrontation which led to his arrest by Haverhill police early Tuesday morning.
Michael Graham, 46, of 45 Arch St., Haverhill, was arrested at 1:57 a.m., Tuesday, at 93 Lafayette Square. He was charged with armed assault with intent to rob, breaking and entering a motor vehicle and possession of a burglarious instrument. No further details were available by deadline.

A Lawrence woman is due to be arraigned in district court on drug dealing charges after her arrest by Haverhill detectives Tuesday evening. Roxanna Villar, 41, of Lawrence, was arrested at 5:33 p.m., Tuesday, at 395 Lowell Ave. She was charged with distribution of a class A drug and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
A motorist, arrested by Haverhill police late Tuesday night on a drunk driving charge, is also due to appear in district court. Glen Monigle, 50, address not listed, was taken into custody at 11:28 p.m., Tuesday, on East Broadway. He was charged with driving under the influence of liquor.
