Alleged Cocaine Trafficker Returns to Court Next Month for Hearing

A Lawrence man, facing cocaine trafficking charges stemming from an arrest last week by Haverhill police, returns to court next month for a probable cause hearing.

Edgardo Pagan, 40, of 24 Summer St., Lawrence, was charged by Haverhill police with cocaine trafficking, driving without a license, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and failure to stop for police. The case was continued to Dec. 22 and Pagan was ordered held on $50,000 bail during his arraignment in Haverhill District Court, according to Carrie Kimball Monahan, spokesperson for Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett.

Pagan was arrested by Haverhill police detectives at 10:32 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 17, during a traffic stop on Interstate 495 northbound.
