The Methuen Santa Parade takes place Saturday.
The parade kicks off at 1 p .m., from the Pelham Street Park and Ride. It features the Methuen High Marching Band, floats from local businesses and Methuen schools, bands from all over New England, bagpipes, clowns, antique cars and dance and gymnastics demonstrations.
The parade begin at the Pelham Street Park and Ride, proceeds East on Pelham Street, left onto Lowell Street, right onto Hampshire Street, straight across Broadway onto Charles Street, onto Pleasant Street, right onto Pleasant View Street and ends at Ranger Stadium.
The annual Methuen Tree Lighting takes place beginning at 5 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 29, at Nevins Memorial Library. The actual tree lighting is scheduled for 6:15 p.m.
