Max J. Freedman, 94, Served Boston Furniture/Cabot House

Max J. Freedman, 94, of Haverhill, died Thursday morning, Nov. 12, at Wingate at Haverhill.

He was born in Haverhill, June 21, 1921, son of the late Harry and Sophie (Kornetsky) Freedman. Educated in the Haverhill school system, Freedman graduated from Haverhill High School. For more than 50 years he was employed as a warehouse manager for Boston Furniture/Cabot House. A longtime member of Temple Emanu-El, Haverhill, he was an avid New England sports fan and enjoyed sketching, fishing, yard work and gardening.

His survivors include his wife of 56 years, Anne (Klickstein) Freedman of Haverhill and a son, Scott Freedman. Freedman was the brother of the late David and Bernard Freedman and Florence Shapiro. Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 13, with interment in Children of Israel Cemetery, Haverhill. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer and Sons funeral Homes, Haverhill and Bradford.
